Behr, Gigandet are tickled Pink
Jason Behr (The Grudge) and Cam Gigandet (The OC) joined the ensemble cast of Pinkville, an investigative thriller by Oliver Stone. The film, based on the 1968 My Lai massacre, also stars Woody Harrelson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum and Xzibit.

WGA strike claims second victim
Oliver Stone's Vietnam War drama Pinkville is the second major film to fall victim to the WGA writers strike. Late last week, Columbia pulled the plug on Angels & Demons, a prequel to The Da Vinci Code. United Artists planned to begin shooting Stone's picture in Southeast Asia in December, but it rescinded its decision because of Stone and screenwriter Mikko Alanne's inability to alter the script. Both men are WGA members.

Xzibit joins the war
Pimp My Ride star Xzibit joined the cast of Pinkville, a Vietnam War drama about the 1968 My Lai Massacre to be directed by Oliver Stone. Stone is also eying Michael Pitt (The Village) to play Lt. William Calley, the Army officer guilty of ordering the massacre. Mikko Alanne wrote the script.

Harrelson enters Vietnam
Oliver Stone's Vietnam War drama, Pinkville, continues beefing up in the casting department. It was announced that Woody Harrelson has joined Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum in the mystery drama, based on the 1968 My Lai Massacre. The incident, when U.S. soldiers killed 500 people or more, is considered the war's turning point. Harrelson will play the officer in charge of the massacre's task force, Willis will be the general who investigated the incident and Tatum will play a pilot who testified against the soldiers. The film, set to begin production next year, was written by Mikko Alanne.
