Isaak and Heard to tackle Informers project
Chris Isaak and Amber Heard have signed on to director Gregor Jordan's The Informers. The film, an adaptation of a novel by Bret Ellis, follows seven stories focused on morally challenged characters, like vampires, rock stars and movie executives. It is set in 1980s Los Angeles.
Isaak will play an alcohol-obsessed father, while Heard will play a sexually promiscuous woman. Also appearing in the film, penned by Ellis and Nick Jarecki, are Billy Bob Thorton, Kim Basinger, Brandon Routh, Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke.
