Helmer, scripter write Laws
Director Craig Lucas and scripter Elyse Friedman have signed on for the comedy Laws of Motion.
The Hollywood Reporter says director Craig Lucas and screenwriter Elyse Friedman have signed on to the Matthew Perry, Justin Long and Hilary Swank comedy Laws of Motion. Matthew Perry, Justin Long and Hilary Swank star in the film about an uptight professor who is dealing with a repressive career and neighborhood. His problems are compounded by the fact that his brother and sister are extreme free spirits.

Perry and Swank are in Motion
Matthew Perry and Hilary Swank will star in Laws of Motion. Ben Foster is also in talks for a lead role in the film. Perry will play a husband who is unhappy both in his job and his local community. He also struggles with the irritation caused by his free-spirited brother (Foster) and sister. Swank would portray a neighbor who seems to be absolutely perfect - too perfect. Laws of Motion is set to start production this month.
