Parisot can't wait for the Weekend
Dean Parisot (Fun with Dick and Jane) is in final talks to direct Weekend Warrior, a Warner Bros. supernatural thriller penned by actor-turned-screenwriter Bill Birch. The Ghostbusters-esque film follows the unlikely adventures of a high school teacher and armchair repairman who, in fact, becomes a superhero.

Warner Bros. gets Weekend Warrior
Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to Weekend Warrior, which is envisioned as a Ghostbusters-style romp that is heavy on special effects. Actor Bill Birch is writing the screenplay, which looks at a home repair enthusiast who accidentally becomes a superhero who must fight the evil forces that wish to conquer the world.
