Allen joins Yosemite Three
Disney has picked up the pitch Yosemite Three, with plans to develop it as a comedy starring Tim Allen. Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert will write the screenplay, which will have Allen starring as a corporate employee who goes out on a retreat with his company. He becomes bored with a mandatory nature hike and sets up shop with a couple of friends in a bar. They're reported missing in Yosemite National Park, and the story spins out of control as they become the top news in television and newspapers.
