Warner to Remake Zombie Dorks
Warner Independent Pictures is remaking the 2004 German comedy Night of the Living Dorks and has opted Chris Bishop to write the screenplay. The movie is described as Revenge of the Nerds meets Shaun of the Dead. Three dorky school friends try an old voodoo ritual one night. But they later die in a car accident and are reborn as zombies, where they try to take advantage of their new and gruesome lifestyle. Vertigo's Roy Lee and Doug Davison are producing the project, along with Adam F. Goldberg.
