New Line is Cursed Towards the Black Path
New Line Cinema has bought the rights to The Black Path, with Henry Jones set to write the drama. The story is about a brilliant - but unemployed - writer who finds an ancient Incan treasure while doing some research in Ecuador. But people with him in his search party soon begin killing one another to get closer to the loot. It is based on the true story of Atahualpa, a treasure which has never been found but is said to be cursed.
