Another Satire From Smoking Author
Thank You for Smoking exec producer Edward Pressman and associate producer Stephen Belafonte will develop another Christopher Buckley adapatation, God Is My Broker. The satire is set on Wall Street and in a monastery. It is described as a parody of the self-help movement, about a New York stockbroker who escapes to a monastery but soon learns that the monks are planning to turn the monastery into a corporation. Peter Himmelstein is currently attached to write the screenplay.
