Modine and Laroque are Neighbors
Matthew Modine and French actress Michele Laroque have been added to the cast of Eddie O'Flaherty's romantic comedy The Neighbor. The independent film is currently shooting in Los Angeles. It is about a man named Jeff (Modine) on the verge of a nervous breakdown after his business hits the skids and he learns that his ex-wife is marrying his old best friend. Meanwhile, a high-powered real estate developer (Laroque) moves into his building, misbelieving that he would move out for her renovation. This leads to a "battle" that might also lead to love. Others in the cast include Gina Mantegna, Meredith Scott Lynn, David Youse, Ed Quinn and Richard Kind.
