ThinkFilm to Release Controversial Doc
ThinkFilm has obtained the worldwide rights to Lake of Fire, a controversial and graphic documentary of the abortion debate. It is directed by Tony Kaye, his first feature film since 1998s controversial American History X. Lake of Fire is black and white and currently 2 1/2 hours long and looks at each side of the abortion issue. Some of the topics include footage of procedures, the murder of doctors who have dared to perform them, and interviews with folks such as Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry and lawyer Alan Dershowitz. The project has been in development for about 16 years. Kaye also hopes to release a 3-4 hour television version of the movie.
