Weinsteins Stomp for Dance Spoof

The Weinstein Company has picked up Dirty Step Stomp, a script from Steve Basilone and Annie Mebane. The story is a satire of dance movies, such as Dirty Dancing, Save the Last Dance, Step Up and Stomp the Yard. Basilone and Mebane are playwrights by day, with credits including She Always Told Me and Bill Pullman Hates You.
