Garner to Holiday in Connecticut
Jennifer Garner will star in a remake of Christmas in Connecticut for Warner Bros. The original 1945 screwball comedy classic starred Barbara Stanwyck, Dennis Morgan and Sydney Greenstreet and was directed by Peter Godfrey. The story focused on a cooking writer whom the world at large thought was living on nice, cozy farm in Connecticut with her family. But, she is actually just a single woman living alone in New York. The secret is discovered when a holiday meal is planned at her "farm". Arnold Schwarzenegger also directed a made-for-tv remake in 1992.
