Walden to Adapt Lewis' Letters
First Walden Media successfully released an adaptation of author C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and now the company will aim for Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. Ralph Winter Prods. is producing the adaptation of the novel, first pusblished in 1942. Like Narnia, the story encompasses Christian themes. The book is in the form of a series of directives from a senior demon, Screwtape, to his "wannabe diabolical nephew", Wormwood. Screwtape advices Wormwood on such things as undermining faith and being sinful. The film will be primarily live-action.
