Mendes Joins Harlin Thriller
Eva Mendes, as well as Christa Campbell, is joining the cast of director Renny Harlin's thriller Cleaner. The story, written by Matthew Aldrich, is about a former cop (Samuel L. Jackson) who makes a living by cleaning up messy crime scenes. After one such job, he realizes that the crime was never actually reported to the police - he has unwittingly helped to cover up a murder. Mendes will play the widow of a victim who goes to Jackson for help, and Campbell will play a coach to Jackson's daughter (Keke Palmer). The cast also includes Ed Harris.
