Universal and Aronofsky Dance to Black Swan
Universal Pictures has acquired Black Swan, a psychological trhiller set in the world of ballet that may be Darren Aronofsky's next directing gig. Aronofsky's Protozoa and Mike Medavoy's Phoenix Pictures will produce the story, about the manipulative relationship between a dancer and a rival. John McLaughlin will write the script. Aronofsky's most recent film was The Fountain.
