Warner and Depp to Produce Russian Spy Pic
Warner Bros. has obtained the movie rights to an unpublished book about the mysterious death of former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko, who was recently in the news for being poisoned by polonium-210. Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil will develop the picture. The New York Times' Alan Cowell has been covering the story since it broke in November and will write the book, Sasha's Story: The Life and Death of a Russian Spy. The story has initiated an international investigation and is one of the most mysterious crimes in the post-Cold War era.
