Intrepid Bows to Prince Screenplay
Intrepid Pictures has bought writer Dave Kalstein's screenplay The Prince, a psychological thriller about a prep school student framed as a terrorist who seeks payback against his former classmates. Kalstein based the story on his own experiences getting kicked out of schools. The title character, "the prince," is falsely charged with planning a massacre at his school. After being released from prison, he resurfaces and takes on a new identity. He gets revenge by ultimately either killing or exposing the dirty secrets of his enemeies. Intrepid hopes to cofinance the project through a first-look deal it has with Universal Pictures / Rogue Pictures or through another partner.
