Miramax is Smart
Miramax has picked up the North American rights to Smart People, a romantic dramedy starring Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church. The movie, written by Mark Poirier, is directed by first-timer Noam Murro. The story is about a widowed professor, his new love, and his recently discovered adopted brother.

SJP is a Smart Person
Sarah Jessica Parker will star in director Noam Murro's Smart People, alongside Dennis Quaid, Thomas Haden Church, Ellen Page and Ashton Holmes. She replaces Rachel Weisz in her role as a doctor who falls in love with a professor, who has turned bitter following his wife's death. Mark Poirier wrote the screenplay.
