DreamWorks Travels with Peabody

DreamWorks Animation is developing a CGI version of classic series Mr. Peabody & Sherman. The duo were introduced in 1959 as short segments as part of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show and had more than 90 episodes all together. Mr. Peabody is a bespectacled dog and Sherman is his adopted pet boy who go on time-traveling adventures together in Peabody's "WABAC Machine." Rob Minkoff (The Lion King) will direct the film, and will also write the screenplay along with producer Jason Clark and Andrew Kurtzman.
