Duo to Rewrite Leisureworld
New Line Cinema has hired John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky to rewrite the script for Leisureworld. The story is about a tired and burnt-out young man who moves from New York to a Florida retirement home in order to find a slower pace of life. He mistakenly thinks that his new home will be filled with kind and harmless old people. But, intead he finds that it is more like high school as the senior citizens dabble in sex, drugs and peer pressure. Altschuler and Krinsky are writers and producers for Fox's animated show King of the Hill. The original script was written by Jason and Justin Heimberg and Jeff Sank.
