Warner Obtains Werewolf Story
Warner Bros., along with producer Graham King's Initial Entertainment Group, have obtained the rights to Kit Whitfield's werewolf novel Benighted. In the story, originally published in the United Kingdom, 90% of the population is a werewolf. During full moons, everyone else must try to maintain the peace. Whitfield's novel also includes themes of racism and alienation. Andrew Adamson (Shrek; The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) will work with King to produce, and possibly to direct as well.
