Lionsgate to Release Spanish Film
Lionsgate will distribute Spanish-language film Pretendiendo this October via a partnership with Panamax Films. The romantic comedy stars Barbara Mori (La Mujer de Mi Hermano) as a beautiful woman who intentionally makes herself look ugly in order to be ignored by men and avoid any more heartbreak. Claudio Dabed directed the film, and also co-wrote it along with Franklin McDonald. Earlier this year, Lionsgate released La Mujer de Mi Hermano to a relatively large opening on more than 200 screens.
