DreamWorks Buys Comedy Pitch
DreamWorks has obtained the rights to The Intern, a comedy pitch from Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. The story is about a middle-aged, stay-at-home dad who decides to return to work and find a job. But the best he can do is to start out as an intern. Ivan Reitman will produce the movie through his Montecito Pictures. Eisenberg and Stupnitsky are both writers for NBC television series The Office.
