Hageman Brothers to Write Lies
Warner Bros. Pictures has hired brothers Dan and Kevin Hageman to write a screenplay adaptation of British author Scotty Lynch's fantasy story The Lies of Locke Lamora. The book, first in a seven part series, was published recently to strong critical reviews. The story in Locke focuses on the adventures of a likable con artist and his group of followers - the Gentleman Bastards - in Camorr, a fictional city very much like Venice. The Hagemans's also recently adapted another book for Warner, Carpe Demon: Adventures of a Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom.
