Zwigoff has Happy Days
Fresh off the first weekend mega-success of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel, Johnny Depp's production company Infinitum Nihil, along with Graham King's Initil Entertainment Group, have hired Terry Zwigoff (Ghost World; Bad Santa) to direct Happy Days. Zwigoff will also co-write along with Jerry Stahl (Bad Boys II) the adaptation of the French novel by Laurent Graff. The story follows a thirtysomething man who leaves his wife and children and checks into a rest home, where he meets an old woman suffering from terminal cancer. The pair bond and go on a special journey as the woman's last wish.
