Jordan to Direct Heart-Shaped Thriller
Neil Jordan (The Crying Game; Interview with the Vampire) will rewrite and direct Heart-Shaped Box for Warner Bros. Tom Pabst wrote the first script adapted from Joe Hill's book of the same name. The story focuses on a rock star who is obsessed with the occult. He buys a suit advertised as being haunted by its previous owner's ghost, but eventually must confront the ghost as well as the demons from his own past.

WB Hires Heart-Shaped Writer
Warner Bros. has hired writer Tom Pabst to adapt Joe Hill's upcoming novel Heart-Shaped Box. The story is a supernatural thriller featuring a rock star who is fascinated with the occult and ghosts. He ends up in the Deep South, where he must face his past in order to escape a haunting. Joe Hill is the son of author Stephen King.
