DiCaprio High on Leary
Suddently Timothy Leary is a hot property in Hollwyood. Just a couple short months after Miramax announced plans to develop a biopic of the late Harvard professor and psychedelic activist, Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way production shingle has thrown its hat into the ring. The actor has hired award-winning playwright Craig Lucas and Leary archivist Michael Horowitz to develop a screenplay about Leary's life. The story will primarily focus on the time between his enrollment at West Point in the early 1940s up through his prison escape in 1970. The project will likely star DiCaprio as well.
