Wilson to be Drillbit
Owen Wilson will star in comedy Drillbit Taylor for Paramount Pictures. The story, from an original idea by John Hughes, is about two high school freshman who are the targets of a bully. In retaliation they hire what they think is a "soldier of fortune" as a bodyguard (Wilson) to protect them, but the truth is something less than that. Chris Brown and Seth Rogen (The 40 Year-Old Virgin) wrote the screenplay, with input from Judd Apatow, who is also producing. Steven Brill (Without a Paddle; Mr. Deeds) is in final talks to direct.
