Lucas Finds Smart
Josh Lucas will star in the biopic Smart, about GQ and Esquire magazine founder David Smart. The story, from a screenplay by Charlie Peters, will showcase the eccentric life of the publisher. He is known for his extreme germ phobia, including creating a series of instructional films on health and hygiene, as well as living the life of a womanizer. Lucas will play a fictional FBI agent who investigates Smart. The movie will be produced by Bruce Nash's Nash Entertainment, as well as Lucas' 2 Bridges Productions.
