Hauer to Direct Changing Fortunes
Actor Rutger Hauer will make his directorial debut with Changing Fortunes, a biopic about Dutch banker Wally van Hall, who managed to save the lives of 80,000 families during World War II. Annie Perkins and Russ Haan wrote the screenplay. Hauer has made his name over the years with supporting roles in a number of big films, from Blade Runner to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sin City, and Batman Begins.
