Fox Nabs The Book Thief
Fox 2000 has obtained the rights to The Book Thief, the bestselling young-adult novel from Aussie writer Markus Zusak. The WWII-era story is narrated by Death and tells the story of a young girl living with a foster family in Germany. After stealing her first book, she soon begins a lifelong love affair with books. Karen Rosenfelt (Charlotte's Web) will produce the film.
