Universal Waits for the Moment
Universal Pictures has obtained rights to The Moment They Were Waiting For, a short story by Ken Kalfus about a killer who is executed, setting the stage for a mysterious supernatural phenomenon where everyone learns the date that they will die. Matthew Ryan Hoge (The United States of Leland) has been tapped to write the screenplay, and John Crowley (Intermission) will direct.
