Get ready for a new action hero, Teacher Man!
Okay, that's a bit of a misleading header. The point is that Frank McCourt's novel, Teacher Man, is being adapted into a feature film. Screenwriter Ron Bass has been assigned the task of updating the project, something for which he is very skilled considering his prior work on 1995's similarly themed Dangerous Minds. McCourt, best known for Angela's Ashes, released his latest book on November 15, 2005. The project is an autobiographical examination of McCourt's three decades as a New York teacher.
