Circling the Anvil
Gold Circle Films has acquired the rights to Anvil, a horror film spec written by Adam Sussman and to be directed by Daniel Calparsoro. The charater-driven thriller follows a young woman who ends up in a rural Kansas town while on a road trip with friends and soon discovers that the locals are not quite what they seem to be. The woman also finds that she has a supernatural destiny. Gold Circle is fast tracking the picture and hopes to be in production before the end of the year.
