Rodriguez boards Jetsons
Robert Rodriguez is in talks to direct a live-action adaptation of the 1960s cartoon The Jetsons for Warner Bros. Of course, that's not the only movie he's expressed interest in. Rodriguez has also met with Will Ferrell and executives for Universal on Land of the Lost, the movie adaptation of the Sid and Marty Krofft TV series from the '70s. At this point, reports say that Rodriguez is leaning toward taking the Jetsons gig because it's closer to being ready to roll. Adam Goldberg is writing the screenplay.
