Gnomeo and Winslet
The long dormant and near-dead animated project Gnomeo and Juliet has been resurrected by Miramax Pictures and Elton John's Rocket Pictures. Kate Winslet is in discussions to headline the movie, which is loosely based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The CG project was recently ditched by Disney after John Lasseter and Pixar took over Disney's animated unit.
