Queen Latifah is the Queen

Queen Latifah has signed on to star in Welfare Queen, about a woman who managed to scam a boatload of money from the welfare system. The deal was made as part of a first-look deal she signed with Focus Features and its subdivision, Rogue Pictures. Latifah most recently starred in Last Holiday and had a voice part in Ice Age: The Meltdown.
