Producers get Viagra memoir
Producers Scott Stuber and Mary Parent have purchased the Jamie Reidy memoir Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman. The book will provide the basis for a fictionalized film about the pharmaceutical supply business. Charles Randolph will write the screenplay. The project will be developed at Universal. The story will look at the competitive world of pharmaceutical sales, where salesmen do their best to schmooze various doctors, nurses and hospitals in order to get them to use their drugs.
