Crashers duo to pen sumo script
Fox has hired Steve Faber and Bob Fisher, the scribes behind Wedding Crashers, to write a comedy about a skinny American competing as a sumo wrestler. The project is being developed as a starring vehicle for Napoleon Dynamite's Jon Heder. The movie will be based on a GQ article by Joshua Davis titled Supersize Me: The Hard-Won Wisdom of a 134-Pound Sumo Warrior. The story was about the lightest man to ever compete at the U.S. Sumo Open.
