Weinsteins Spellbound for Wordplay
The Weinstein Co. will partner with IFC Films to distribute the documentary Wordplay. The new agreement covers domestic distribution, as the Weinsteins had already acquired international rights. Wordplay was a success at Sundance earlier this year.

IFC gets Wordplay
IFC Films has acquired the rights to the documentary Wordplay, an examination of the New York Times crossword editor and NPR host Will Shortz and the national crossword tournament that he founded. Patrick Creadon directed the film.
