Raimi hears Siren song
Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert's Ghost House Pictures has picked up rights to the Japanese video game Siren. Michael Gordon will write the screenplay, working closely with the game's director, Keiichiro Toyama. The game has already resulted in a sequel that will be released soon. The movie version will center on an American med school student who is searching for her sister, who is missing in Japan. She starts her search in the remote mountain village called Hanuda, but soon finds herself trapped with a terrible, uncontainable evil.
