Picturehouse Likes Penguins Follow Up
Picturehouse has picked up the U.S. distribution rights to The Fox & The Child, Luc Jacquest's follow up to the uber-successful documentary March of the Penguins. The movie will combine the narrative storytelling of an adult female with documentary footage in order to tell the story of a young girl who trails a fox into the woods near where she lives. It is based on Jacquet's childhood experience.

Jacquet announces next project
Luc Jacquet, the man behind last year's breakout success March of the Penguins, will follow up that project with The Fox and the Child, a movie that will combine documentary nature footage with a fictional story. The $13 million film will center on a young girl and her friendship with a fox.
