Sony Pictures Classics goes Italian
Sony Pictures Classics has closed a deal for North American distribution of this year's Russian Oscar entry, The Italian. The movie is the feature film directorial debut of Andrei Kraychuck and centers on a six-year-old named Vanya who has to choose between allowing himself to be adopted by a foreign family or running away to find the mother who left him behind.
