Witherspoon has Troubles
Universal Pictures has acquired the Don Winston script Our Family Troubles and will develop it as a starring vehicle for Reese Witherspoon. The movie will likely get a title change, and will have Witherspoon portraying a first-time mother who becomes so plagued by unexplained phenomena that she starts to doubt her own sanity. She goes home to Tennessee, where she becomes obsessed with the legend of the Bell Witch, a being she is convinced is out to harm her son.
