Witchblade headed to theaters

After finding some degree of success as a television series, the comic book series Witchblade will be adapted into two feature films. Platinum Studios, IDG Films and Relativity Media will co-produce the films, which center on a female detective who obtains a magical and mystical weapon that she uses to battle crime.
