Fox goes into Orbit

Fox 2000 has acquired rights to the John Nance novel Orbit. Sheldon Turner will adapt the screenplay, which will center on a civilian who joins the crew of a space shuttle flight, but finds himself in peril when the rest of the group dies. The novel will be published in 2006.
