Studio gets rights to Lunar Park
Palm-Star Entertainment has acquired rights to Bret Easton Ellis's latest novel, Lunar Park. The author previously wrote such stuff as Less Than Zero, American Psycho and The Rules of Attraction, all of which were made into films. This book is considered to be Ellis's most personal, and centers on a character named...Bret Easton Ellis, a vain drug fiend who is full of self-loathing. He gets a shot at redemption when an old flame offers to marry him on the condition that he reconnect with the 11-year-old son who he has shunned for the boy's entire existence.
