Howard is a Crusader
Terrence Howard is set to portray Thurgood Marshall in The Crusaders, a movie about the Brown vs. Board of Education Supreme Court case that was a landmark for civil rights in 1954. Brad Silberling will direct the film for New Line, which is based on a screenplay by West Wing writers Paul Redford and Lawrence O'Donnell. Marshall led the NAACP to win the case that would end segregation in schools. Eventually, he would be the first African-American Supreme Court Justice.
