Jackman on a Rebound
20th Century Fox has picked up the spec script Rebound Guy and plans to develop it as a starring vehicle for Hugh Jackman. Jennifer Robinson and Dyanne Stempel will write the screenplay, which centers on a bachelor who only goes for girls who are on the rebound, realizing that they'll never truly want to develop a serious relationship with him, leaving him free and clear to date the next lady. When he actually falls for a girl who is on the rebound, he sets her up with a different "rebound guy" so that he can be the one she really falls for later.
