Fickman set for Disney
Andy Fickman will direct Daddy's Little Girl for Walt Disney Pictures. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is attached to star in the film, which has a screenplay by Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price. The movie looks at an NFL quarterback who is existing as a bachelor but discovers that he has a daughter from a previous relationship.

The Rock gets Disney flick
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has agreed to star in Daddy's Girl, a family comedy from the Walt Disney Company. Nicole Millard and Kathryn Price wrote the screenplay about a superstar NFL quarterback who is committed to his bachelorhood. One day, a seven-year-old girl shows up on his doorstep and he learns that he is her father and her mother, a former girlfriend, has passed away. Naturally, his entire life changes. The Rock played football at the University of Miami and briefly as a pro in Canada.
